I have a question about this piece of advice: "Now, I’m a “diversified” writer who hops genres within series, so I get both the satisfaction of sell-through and the joy of switching genres. " Could you provide an example of what that looks like?
Ruthless Captor: Second Chance Secret Baby Kidnapping Mafia Romance
That series is all over the place, and the spice level is super inconsistent, but it's a series, so the sell-through is great. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
I also have a contemporary series with a last book that crosses over with one of my shifter series. Again, great sell-through while I get to do whatever I want.
OHH now I see what you mean, it's different tropes under the contemporary romance umbrella. Got it. Thank you! I find it extremely hard to drill down to just one trope too, even the ones I love.
